A look back on 2013

This year we celebrated Eleganza Sposa's 21st anniversary and we really did have  the most fantastic year.  Our success this year has been largely attributed  to the abundance of successful events that we have thoroughly enjoyed organising and being a part of. Our main motivation at Eleganza is to provide the highest quality of service to our incredible clients and we could not be more happy with the feedback we have received this year and all the beautiful brides we have had the pleasure of meeting. 2014 is set to be our biggest and brightest year yet as we strive for even more success and to keep up our title of “Favourite Italian Business”. Before kick-starting the New Year with a bang with our annual catwalk show at the Bothwell Bridge Hotel on the 12^th January, we thought we would take a look back and celebrate our favourite moments of 2013.

January

The Bothwell Bridge Hotel catwalk show. This was an extremely successful day that saw the launch of our own bespoke bridal gown collection. Our models looked simply divine in our bespoke creations and it was extremely exciting seeing our designs come alive for the first time.

February

Suzanne Neville Designer Day at our Glasgow Flagship Store. This was the first of two Suzanne Neville designer days we had this year where our brides had the chance to try on gowns from her stunning collection “Diamond” for the first time.

March

Launch of our new bridal collection, Eleganza Iconica. Our new bespoke bridal collection arrived in store and was modelled by Miss Scotland winner Jennifer Reoch in a stunning photoshoot. The collection embodied high fashion, luxury and elegance. We were also in attendance at the women of influence ladies lunch, a fantastic event that exists to encourage, support and recognise influential women in Scotland. These women are from many arenas including media, entertainment, business, politics, public service and the community - the common thread is that they have achieved excellence in their field and also made an outstanding contribution to our society.

April

Essence of Australia designer day at our Glasgow Flagship Store. We hosted a designer day for Essence of Australia where clients could try on gowns from the brand for the first time. Look out for more designer days in 2014. Jo Malone Wedding Event We showcased a selection of beautiful dresses at an exclusive event with renowned British fragrance house Jo Malone, London in Princes Square.

August

Eleganza Sposa were delighted to sponsor and support the Glasgow Caledonian University 4^th year Fashion Business students 2013 fashion show. We set the students the challenge of designing exquisite wedding gowns for our in-house Eleganza Iconica Collection. Four inspiring winners were selected, one from each of the Eleganza key looks.

September

Caroline Castigliano Designer Day at our Glasgow Flagship store. We hosted a designer day dedicated to Caroline Castigliano’s stunning collection, English Heritage.

October

Luxe Wedding Show at Hamilton Town House We showcased our bridal gowns in a floral garden themed catwalk with our stunning models including current Miss Scotland, Jamie Bowers wearing our bespoke designs.

November

Launch of the Eleganza ‘Collezioni’ at our Glasgow flagship store. We launched our stunning new occasion wear collection, “Eleganza Collezioni” to raise funds for Ayesha’s bone marrow appeal. The event was an extreme success and we managed to raise an amazing £791 for an important cause. Scottish Italian Awards – Winner of Favourite Italian Business Our whole team attended the Scottish Italian awards to celebrate the significant contribution that the Italian Community has made to the lives of the Scottish population. It was an inspiring evening and it was made even more special for us as we were honoured to win the award of “Favourite Italian Business”. The Launch of our online shop, Eleganza Boutique We launched our online shop where we can now sell sample bridal, bridesmaid, mother of the bride and occasion dresses at hugely discounted prices.
