We are very busy this week at Eleganza Sposa as we prepare for the launch of our in-house designed, new occasion wear collection; Eleganza Collezioni. 1001714_487342824706686_2070142997_n The launch event is taking place on Thursday, 7th November, at our Glasgow Flagship store, where guests can enjoy a champagne reception, a raffle with fabulous prizes and an exclusive catwalk show, featuring the new collection in full for the first time. The event is not only to showcase our stunning new collection but also to fundraise for Ayesha Siddiqui's bonemarrow appeal,  a cause we all at Eleganza Sposa feel very strongly about supporting. Little Ayesha and her amazing family are a true inspiration, showing that love really can move mountains. Ayesha and her dad Nadeem Ayesha Siddiqui, now 9 years old, was diagnosed just over two years ago with leukaemia. Her father and cancer consultant, Nadeem Siddiqui started a campaign for the search of a bone marrow match, in a bid to save his daughters life. With Ayesha's case, the search for a donor is even more difficult as she needs someone of mixed race. Nadeem, is a truly remarkable man who has shown unwavering determination to raise awareness and funds for the Anthony Nolan cancer charity. Since Ayesha's diagnosis, he has raised over £180,000 and recruited 500 more donors to the Anthony Nolan register. For his extraordinary efforts towards the cause and hard battle between father and cancer specialist, he received a Great Scot Award last week, to which he was both extremely honoured and emotional, describing the whole journey as 'heartbreaking'. Currently, Ayesha is trying to live as normal a life as possible and is still the same bubbly, bright girl she was before her diagnosis. However, leukaemia has heavily impacted on her life as she spends months in intensive chemotherapy and has to live most of her days in a bubble, missing out on key childhood events such as friends birthday parties due to the risk of catching infection. We at Eleganza Sposa are honoured to be able to help in anyway we can to  save a hopeful, brave, young girls life and raise awareness for this important cause. Please come along to the event, spread the word and be a part of the journey in turning Ayesha's story into one with a happy ending. To find out more about Ayesha's story, click here x
