Eleganza Real Bride: Amy

Eleganza Real Bride: Amy

How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?

I loved every moment of my time in Eleganza, from the welcome Prosecco on my first visit to feeling like a princess in every gown I tried on, even the ones that weren’t for me. Coming to the end of my first appointment I hadn’t found a dress for me, then the store manager popped in on my appointment and asked if she could try a totally different dress on me that had just landed in the store that week. I was more than happy to try it on & see what she had in mind, and that was when I found my dream dress. My sisters and I just teared up and the girls in eleganza asked me to stand in the middle of the store with it on, and everyone round about just showered me with lovely compliments & emotions ran high & that’s when I knew this was the dress for me.

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?

Myself and my partner have been together for almost 12 years, we met back in our high school days. We always said we would get married but it was never top of the list for some reason. 2018 came and Paul proposed to me infront of my full dance school at my annual Christmas dance show. It was a very lovely moment, I don’t know we’re he found the courage to do it infront of so many people but I share a lot of my time with my kids at my dancing school so it was nice to have them included.

Tell us more about your Savin London gown!

The dress was just something I never thought I would go for as a wedding dress. It had the split up the leg which is very me, but I never thought i would have that on my wedding dress but it was still elegant and suited me. The lace flower over skirt detail is beautiful but my favourite part of the whole look was my beautiful matching veil, it was stunning & made me feel like a royal.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

We got married in Ibiza, so we used a lot of Spanish suppliers to help bring our day together. We had a theme of white roses and dried champagne colour pampas’s through out our full wedding, bouquets, button holes, flower decor, our welcome sign etc. Having a destination wedding was a dream come true & my dress was just perfect for it.

Tell us more about your Big Day!

We got married on a beach terrace over looking the beach at sunset. The view was something I will never forget, also we had the best day for the most beautiful sunset too. Our pictures are just stunning. We had a saxophonist playing in the evening outdoors on the terrace, which got the full wedding party going.

What was the most memorable moment?

Walking down the stairs & along the aisle to meet my husband, it’s a moment I will never forget seeing his face as I walked towards him, with one of our favourite songs playing.

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

I have so many, they are all beautiful I feel like I can’t choose a favourite. The photographer has caught some lovely moments of us off guard and just normal.
