Eleganza Real Bride: Emma

Eleganza Real Bride: Emma

How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?

It was amazing. We booked in especially to see the Suzanne Neville dress that I ended up purchasing. It just so happens that you had the perfect size for me and we ended up purchasing it. The ladies that helped me with trying on dresses were so lovely and knowledgable. I was thoroughly impressed.

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?

Our favourite part of planning the wedding was planning a day that we would both enjoy alongside our guests. We put a lot of thought into the decor, entertainment and food (and drink!). We tried to plan lots of special moments throughout the day, like a bride reveal with the bridesmaids and mother of the groom. My brother played me down the aisle to a song that was from our first date together. It was a very special moment in a very memorable day.

Tell us more about your Suzanne Neville gown!

When I first got engaged I started to browse on instagram. I stumbled across Eleganza and one of the first dresses I saw was the dress I ended up purchasing! I couldn’t get my mind off of it, so I booked in to try it on. I had tried a few dresses on up to that point but nothing felt right. As soon as I tried the dress on I knew it was the one! My mother loved it (as did the other guests in the shop!). It was perfect.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

Our theme was classic and timeless. Harry and his groomsmen opted for tuxedos which matched the theme and style of my dress.

Tell us more about your Big Day!

We stayed the night at Kelham House and got ready in the morning. It was raining all morning which made for some interesting photographs! We hopped into the beautiful cars for my dad and I and my bridesmaids and when we arrived to St Wulfram’s the sun came out just at the right time. We had a beautiful service at St Wulfram’s and did the confetti tunnel before heading back to Kelham House for canapés and drinks. My brother played the piano again for the guests just before the speeches and meal. I had to change into a dress I could do a ceilidh in! Afterwards we had our cut the cake moment and our first dance followed by a ceilidh which was extremely popular. In the small hours the DJ played some classics whilst we munched on the delicious wood fired pizzas and wedding cake. Everyone had a great time. It was a truly magical day.

What was the most memorable moment?

Walking down the aisle after getting married and seeing everyone we love cheering. It was an amazing moment.

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

Yes! The picture where we are coming down the aisle and I have my bouquet raised. It sums up the experience and what we were feeling perfectly.
