Eleganza Real Bride: Gabrielle

How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?

I loved every minute of my experience with Eleganza. I went in pretty much knowing what I wanted. They say you always end up leaving with something unexpected but that was definitely not me. I had my eyes on a specific style of dress for years and Eleganza brought my dreams to life.

Let’s go back to the start - what was your engagement like?

Our proposal moment was a day I will always remember. It was my 21st birthday and we headed out to a undisclosed location where Andrew had planned a treasure hunt with clues and top secret envelopes that led to him down on one knee with my dream ring. It was perfect.

Due to covid we’ve had to re plan quite a few times but I loved creating magical moments throughout the day. Our guest book was actually a record on a player for everyone to sign and we had a huge sweet table which everyone seemed to enjoy!

Tell us all about your Riki Dalal wedding gown.

My dress was a stunning A line dress sweetheart neckline with appliqué flowers on the bodice that faded out into a tulle skirt. I knew I wanted to add to it and make it my own, so alongside Eleganza we created a beautiful long sleeve bodysuit to wear underneath that would allow me to have removable sleeves. The sleeves has the same flowers that faded up my arms and it was everything I dreamed of. I wore the sleeves for the ceremony and drinks reception and removed them for dinner which made people wonder if I had two dresses which I loved.

Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette for your wedding decor?

My inspiration was purely botanical. I love the look of leaves and flowers and it followed through the whole day not just my dress. My jewellery featured leaf shaped Swarovski crystals all gifted to me by my hansom husband.

The flowers featured quicksand roses and white hydrangeas and my bouquets were very wild looking to go with the botanical theme.

Tell us more about your wedding day!

The only other thing that I thought made the day was the outfits. As a big fashion lover, it was all about the fits. My girls were in a beautiful pale pink strapless dresses and they looked amazing paired with beautiful white rose bouquets. I couldn’t believe how amazing they looked and they made my day so special, I can’t thank them enough!

Meanwhile all the boys were suited and booted in their classy black tuxedos. And may I say my new husband looked particularly incredible and suave, my real life James Bond. However, my Grandad who walked me down the aisle looked just like Sean Connery!

In fact, everyone just looked so classy! It was amazing to see our vision come to life.

What was the most memorable moment?

The moment our first dance happened and confetti was falling over us, I just felt so overwhelmed with happiness. The song meant so much to me and was a perfect ode to our relationship. Million Dreams - Pink

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

Although I haven’t seen them all yet, my favourite image is when we have just left the church after getting married. We just look so happy as a freshly married couple.
