Eleganza Real Bride: Jess

Eleganza Real Bride: Jess

How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?

The best I have ever received in any retailer. From start to finish, even from the communication via Instagram and email. I travelled by plane all the way from Southampton and I was not disappointed, the travel and cost was absolutely worth it! I have recommended Eleganza to all of my bride to be friends. I've never felt so special in all my life! Amazing!

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?

My partner and I were in St Vincent in the Caribbean, on a 2 week cruise. Simon got down on one knee on my birthday 9th December 2021.
The whole planning process I loved, I was so relaxed and laid back with it all I actually allowed my suppliers to run with what they thought was best and everything was perfect. My favourite parts, if I had to choose, would likely be choosing my dress with Eleganza and choosing/meeting my photographer. She was everything and more.
We are planning to go somewhere lovely and hot just after Christmas this year, 2 weeks in the Maldives or Caribbean where we got engaged! :)

Tell us more about your Savin London gown!

Well, the dress!
I felt a million dollars, every guest said to me how elegant and beautiful it was with just enough sparkle.
Everything about the dress was perfect, the way it flowed, followed me when I walked and the material was so soft.
The veil  also needs recognition, every guest had veil envy and had never seen anything better. It was beautiful!
I don't think I will ever feel as amazing as i felt in my dress on my wedding day ever again.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

Elegant touches with a a really relaxed atmosphere. No particular time frame, just let the day head in the direction everyone made it.
The boys were in Blue and Herringbone tweed, we are country people so wanted this in the wedding.
My girls were in a Silvery, grey, blue-y dresses, stunning.
Otherwise the colours were plain, White, foliage with a pop of grey and pink within the flowers.

Tell us more about your Big Day!

It flowed from start to finish, married our local church in the Village of Broughton, Hampshire. After the ceremony we had a drink with all our friends and guests at our local pub where we frequent most weekends. On to Oakley Hall, Basingstoke for welcome drinks with the incredible singer Jennifer Owens (look her up on Apple/Spotify/amazon etc!) then onto the reception with a country band that gets your foot tapping with the fiddle for a massive party with other 250 guests!

What was the most memorable moment?

Standing at the church doors with my dad seeing Simon at the Alter and looking at everyone trying to get a first look at the dress

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

My photographer was so so amazing i really cant pick! But probably one of the really close photos at the end of the day in the sunset hour
