Eleganza Real Bride: Lucy

Eleganza Real Bride: Lucy

How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?

We had decided due to family illness to move our wedding up, and plan the whole thing in 10 weeks. I booked an appointment, explained the unique circumstances and the team went above and beyond to facilitate finding my dream dress, I also had a broken foot at the time, but not to worry - Rachel was on had to help me in and out of gowns and to simulate walking! Thank you SO MUCH!
I had a specific style in mind, and Rachel helped select extra gowns that were on a similar wavelength to give me options. She made the experience so stress free and special for me and Mum.
The team helped get the dress to me in time for alterations so I could wear it in 9 weeks time!

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?

Dave proposed on the beach as we sat on a log drinking mulled wine babbling about the coming year. We ended up getting married in a venue 5 minutes from this same beach, and headed there straight after our ceremony to pop a bottle and drink it all in before heading back to our nearest and dearest. It was a great full circle moment.

Tell us more about your Savin London gown!

The dress was beautiful, ivory coloured with side embellishments on the hips and a hand stitched beaded thin belt around the waist.
I wanted to feel bridal, but still sexy and like myself, so the plunging neckline and fitted fishtail was a dream!
The fit was like a glove, but still super comfortable for running around a beach, eating 4 courses and dancing the night away.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

We wanted the wedding to reflect us as a couple, be casual with a touch of glam, joyful and a riot of colour.
I'm a print designer by trade and after painting some bright watercolour flowers, used this on our invites, website and signage for the wedding. The florists followed the paintings to create the bouquets, floral arch and table settings.

Tell us more about your Big Day!

It was magical from start to finish, and so much fun watching all our worlds collide in one place, on a rare sunny day in Troon.
We even got married outside - on a freak Indian Summer day in September.

What was the most memorable moment?

Walking down the aisle with my first love - my Dad, to marry my last love - my Husband.

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

There are too many to choose from - our photographer did an amazing job with an easy-going, candid style that fit our personalities perfectly.
