How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?
My experience at Eleganza Sposa was truly magical from start to finish. I visited in December 2021 with my two sisters, just looking to try on a few dresses for the first time, not expecting to find my dream dress. Rachel was so lovely and attentive. She pulled out so many styles I loved and made myself and my sisters feel so comfortable, as I was a little nervous this quickly went away thanks to her! I feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful experience at Eleganza, I cannot thank you enough for these beautiful memories. Picking my dress with my two sisters by my side was one of my most favourite memories from the whole wedding process. I could not recommend you enough to any bride. Forever grateful for you all!
Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?
In 2018, we went on a trip of a lifetime to Vancouver, Canada. We went for two weeks and made the most incredible memories that I will never forget. On the last weekend, we travelled up to Whistler. The day before my 21st birthday, we hiked up the mountains beside the most beautiful, blue glacier fed lakes. When we got to the top, we couldn’t see a thing from the mist, and I was really disappointed after hiking up all that way and looking forward to this part of the trip for ages (I was being grumpy to be honest and just sitting stuffing my face with gummy bears, I feel terrible looking back haha). But then suddenly, the mist started to lift, and we could see the amazing glacier at the top of the mountain behind the bluest water I have ever saw in my life. I then turned around and Callan was down on one knee. I remember being in shock and instantly crying. I felt my Mum, who I lost when I was 16, was there with us, she moved the mist for us to create this moment, and it was just the most beautiful moment of my entire life. I wish I could relive it every single day. Callan just knows me so well and our engagement could not have been any more perfect.
Tell us more about your Suzanne Neville gown!
I knew I had wanted the 3D floral effect with some simplicity incorporated on the dress. I had put both Eden and Kamala on my love list, along with some others. I tried Eden on second, and I instantly knew it was the one. From the most beautiful delicate floral detail, the off the shoulder neckline and sleeves, to the gorgeous simple train and slit on the leg. It was just perfect and everything I could have wanted and more. My sister was sobbing when she first saw me wearing it and I instantly started crying too. Since the wedding, I have had so many people telling me it's the most beautiful dress they've ever seen. I couldn’t be more in love with my dress, and I know I always will be.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?
We loved the whimsical, old fashioned theme of our venue Auchen Castle. It is a stunning setting with beautiful grounds, a gorgeous loch and the castle itself is breath taking. I wanted gorgeous delicate florals around the venue, soft tones of light pink, white and greenery along with pops of sage green to tie in with our beautiful bridesmaids dresses. I dressed the venue myself, I done all the decor by hand and set it up the day before with the help of family and friends. I loved how it turned out, my photographer specialises at our venue and she told me it was one of the most beautiful setups she had seen at Auchen, and that means so much to me!
Tell us more about your Big Day!
I married my childhood sweetheart on our 10 year anniversary. We become 'official' on 10.02.2013 and our wedding day was 10.02.2023.
We had the most beautiful, funny, emotional and personalised ceremony by our amazing celebrant Andrea Keenan. It was perfect and so us, very laid back!
It was a day filled with so much laughter, love and emotion. I honestly would not change a thing, each and every person there just had such a positive and loving energy. Our suppliers were absolutely incredible, so attentive and talented, I would highly recommend every single one.
Our speeches were a beautiful part of the day. Everyone spoke to well, it was funny and emotional all at the same time. I had hand written letters to our close family members to give to them on the morning of our wedding, and I decided it was only right that I wrote one to my late Mum too. I read it to our guests as my speech as a tribute to her on our special day.
What was the most memorable moment?
We had 'shades of sax' play during our drinks reception, he played some relaxing, chilled out music then came in for 'mid meal madness' and got the party started. Everyone was so surprised and loved it so much. It was absolutely bouncing! I just remember standing on the chairs dancing and jumping about with my now HUSBAND thinking how amazing it was to have all of our most special people around us celebrating with us and sharing this joy. It was such an unreal feeling and something I will never forget. Could not believe it was only 5.30 in the afternoon haha!
Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?
I think the one of us both smiling walking back down the isle is my favourite. We had just officiated our marriage in front of our most important people and had the most beautiful ceremony. I can just see the pure joy in both of our faces. It was so natural and beautiful. Our faces were like that the entire day but I just love how this photo captured it.
