Eleganza Real Bride: Niamh

Eleganza Real Bride: Niamh

How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?

Amazing from start to finish. The ladies were incredible and literally helped me find my dream dress. I had LOADS of saved photos (all very similar in style) however they did recommend I try on a few styles before picking a dress. I loved trying on the different styles and although they were all gorgeous I had had my heart set on the style I wanted for years and is the style I eventually picked.

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?

Proposal - we got engaged in Seville in the parc de Maria Louisa just before new year 2018, it was an amazing setting and it remains one of my favourite cities.

Honeymoon - we went to Porto for a few day which, again, is another incredible city. We have a now 3 year old son so we took a few days to ourselves in Porto which was fantastic then headed to the family holiday house in vilamoura, algarve in Portugal to spend another week with my new in laws and our son.

Tell us more about your Martina Liana gown!

100% the most amazing thing I have ever worn (and the heaviest!). It was honestly my absolute dream dress, before I was even engaged or had started planning my wedding! It truly made me feel like a princess. I am naturally very slim and it perfectly suited my body shape. It was so elegant and honestly just perfect for me. My mum and sister were in tears were in tears at the fitting and bridesmaids were in tears when they first saw it on me at my alterations fitting. I received compliments from almost every guest at the wedding who complimented how gorgeous it was and how it was just perfect for me.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

We always wanted a more rustic style of wedding but ensuring it remained classy and elegant. Our venue was perfect for what we wanted as were our suppliers for food, flowers, cake, photographer.

Tell us more about your Big Day!

It poured!! We were meant to have our ceremony in the walled garden and the few days leading up to the wedding had been gorgeous and our wedding day poured! It really did not take away from how amazing it all was though - ceremony was quickly moved inside, suppliers were amazing pulling it all together. It did eventually stop raining and we were able to get gorgeous pictures outdoors and in the walled garden where we had originally planned to be married.

The music was incredible. We flew all 3 of our musicians up from London and it was the best decision we made. All 3 were incredible and our pianist and sax came together for the first time ever (they had never met before) to do our first dance which was Kiss Me - Ed Sheeran

What was the most memorable moment?

Having our son there - he was only just over 2 and he was amazing, it was so good to be able to have him in all of the photos

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

One of myself, husband and son - they are not the lost aesthetically pleasing (having a toddler in them and all) but they mean the most to me.
