Eleganza Real Bride: Nicole

How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?

My experience at Eleganza was amazing. I went myself as I didn't want to be influenced by anyone else's opinion and I couldn't fault the staff. They made me feel amaing in every dress I tried on and I actually ended up buying the very first dress I tried on.

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?

My now husband lol proposed to me on my 29th birthday in Finlaystone country park while we were there on a trip with our 2 kids. We were still I lockdown and under restrictions so we were very limited with what we could do but this was just perfect for me. He proposed infront of a beautiful waterfall and my best friend and maid of honour was diving about the bushes unknown to me to take photos of our special moment.

The best bit of planning our wedding was looking for the venue and visiting it. It was the 2nd place we looked at and we both had our hearts set on it.

We are doing a family moon to a 5* resort in Turkey and we can't wait.

Tell us more about your Eleganza Sposa gown!

My dress was absolutely stunning and not what I thought I'd go for. Every single person on the wedding day said the same thing. They thought I would go for very fitted and backless but I actually went for an line ivory dress with a fitted lace bodice and the most gorgeous satin bottom with a super long train. I felt amazing in it. I tried on lots of styles but they all made me feel like i was going on a night out instead of making me feel like a bride. The most amaing little extra too as that the dress had pockets which was fab for my phone and lipstick!

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

We went for a rustic theme with white greens and wood

Tell us more about your Big Day!

We got married on 30.03.23 at Carlowrie Castle. It was a strangely lovely day sunny and warm the day before and after was raining so we were so lucky. We had a small intimate wedding with 65 guests altogether. The day from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Everyone was in good spirits and everything went to plan. I tried my best to take in as much of the day as I could. The food was outstanding the staff were great all of our suppliers done an amaIng job and everyone made everything so stress free. We really could not have asked for a better day.

What was the most memorable moment?

Getting photos with Stuart was the most memorable moment for me as we got to spend some time just us together and share our experience of the day together.

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?

I love all of the pictures of Stuart and I. We have hardly any nice photos of us and to see us together laughing and so happy is so nice. I also love all of the photos of our kids and the ones of me and my dad - he as so emotional so these photos make me feel emotional when I see them.
