How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?
My experience at Eleganza was absolutely amazing. I was nervous to try on dresses but the girls made me feel so comfortable from the moment I entered the shop. The lady who helped me pick my dress was so professional and knowledgeable about the dresses that you stocked. I came into the shop with an idea of what I wanted but she suggested a dress I hadn’t seen and I just instantly fell in love when I put it on. I just had the most amazing day ever choosing my dress.
Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?
My partner Jamie proposed to me at the top of the Rockefeller Center in New York City in 2018, I was totally taken by surprise but it was the best proposal I could have ever wished for. I loved every part of planning our wedding, we were supposed to be married in 2021 but covid meant that we had to push it back but it was absolutely worth it so that we could have the day that we wanted. For our honeymoon we are planning to go to a few locations in Italy.

Tell us more about your Essense of Australia gown!
The dress wasn’t what I had in mind when walking into the shop, I don’t really know what I think I wanted but the sales assistance helped me try on different styles to find something that I loved. After I had tried on a couple of dresses (that I also loved) she said she had a dress that she had in mind that she thought I would like so I agreed to try it on. As soon as I put the dress on I just knew it was the one. My mother in law, maid of honour and I were all crying as soon as we opened the curtain, it was such a special moment. I also bought my veil from Eleganza by the same designer and I had never seen a veil like it before, it was perfect. I felt the best I’ve ever felt wearing the dress on my wedding day.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?
We didn’t go in to planning with any specific theme in mind but we both knew that we wanted it to be simple and timeless.
Tell us more about your Big Day!
Our wedding day was better than I could ever imagined that it would be. We were so lucky to have the sunshine and 24° which made our beach photos even more special. It went without a hitch from start to finish and it was full of love and laughter. I wish that I could do it all over again.
What was the most memorable moment?
I’ll never forget getting to the top of the aisle and seeing my husband to be and all of the people that I love there waiting on me.

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?
I absolutely LOVE all of the sunset beach photos. We had such a fun time taking them together and with our friends.
